These terms cover your use of the ShapeCam app, made by JoCoding. By using the app you agree to them.
What you make is yours
You keep every right to the photos, GIFs and canvases you create with ShapeCam, including the shapes you draw. We claim no licence over them, and since none of it reaches us, we could not use it if we wanted to.
Using the app responsibly
Do not use ShapeCam to photograph people without their consent where consent is required, to break the law, or to infringe someone else's rights. Do not attempt to work around the paid features.
ShapeCam Pro
Some features — decorating on the canvas, saving GIFs, changing GIF length, saving PNGs without a watermark, and keeping more than three custom shapes — require a ShapeCam Pro subscription. Everything else, including taking shaped photos, is free and unlimited.
Pro is offered monthly or yearly, with a one-week free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when the trial ends. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not here — deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Prices are shown in your own currency before you buy, and may differ between countries.
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. We cannot issue them ourselves.
Availability
We may change or discontinue features. If a change removes something Pro was sold on, we will say so before it happens where we reasonably can.
No warranty
ShapeCam is provided as is. We do our best to make it reliable, but we cannot guarantee it is free of faults, and we are not liable for lost photos or other content. Keep anything you care about backed up, as you would with any photo on your phone.
