Terms of Service
ShapeCam · last updated 15 September 2026
These terms cover your use of the ShapeCam app, made by JoCoding. By using the app you agree to them.
What you make is yours
You keep every right to the photos, GIFs and canvases you create with ShapeCam, including the shapes you draw. We claim no licence over them, and since none of it reaches us, we could not use it if we wanted to.
Using the app responsibly
Do not use ShapeCam to photograph people without their consent where consent is required, to break the law, or to infringe someone else's rights. Do not attempt to work around the paid features.
Free tier, daily limit, and ads
Every feature of ShapeCam is available to everyone. On the free tier, saving or exporting — photos, GIFs, and canvas exports — is limited to a small number per day. When you reach the limit you can watch a short rewarded ad to earn an extra save, or simply wait until the next day. Ads are shown only when you choose to watch one.
ShapeCam Ticket
The ShapeCam Ticket is a single one-time purchase. It permanently removes the daily limit and all ads on the device account that bought it. It is not a subscription: there is no renewal, no recurring charge, and nothing to cancel. Payment is charged once to your Apple or Google account at purchase. Prices are shown in your own currency before you buy, and may differ between countries.
If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, use "Restore purchases" in Settings with the same Apple or Google account to get your Ticket back at no charge.
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. We cannot issue them ourselves.
Availability
We may change or discontinue features. If a change removes something the Ticket was sold on, we will say so before it happens where we reasonably can.
No warranty
ShapeCam is provided as is. We do our best to make it reliable, but we cannot guarantee it is free of faults, and we are not liable for lost photos or other content. Keep anything you care about backed up, as you would with any photo on your phone.
